Towering columns dominate the frame in Doric Columns, a work by MC Escher that plays with perspective and depth. The columns, rendered in stark black and white, create a labyrinthine effect that draws the eye into the image, challenging our perception of space and structure. The intricate crosshatching and precise lines of Escher's style are on full display here. The columns recede into the distance, their forms repeating and interlocking in a pattern that seems to defy the laws of physics. The contrast between light and shadow adds a sense of depth and dimension to the piece. This poster brings a sense of architectural grandeur to any room. It's a great fit for a study or library, where its intellectual appeal can be fully appreciated.
