Rolling green hills stretch under a pale, open sky in Normandy. The scene is a patchwork of emerald fields, soft lavender shadows, and distant hedgerows. Hockney renders the landscape with loose, expressive strokes, letting the light break across the terrain in subtle shifts of tone. The composition feels alive, as if the wind moves through the grass and the clouds drift just beyond the frame. Hockney’s Normandy captures the quiet drama of rural France, a place where time seems to slow. It’s the work of an artist drawn to the interplay of nature and perception, to the way a simple stretch of land can hold depth and story. The piece resonates with his enduring love for observing the world through color and form, inviting the viewer to linger in its calm. This David Hockney art print brings Normandy’s serene beauty to your walls. Ideal for those who cherish landscape wall art and the timeless appeal of a Hockney poster.
