Untitled 2 by Keith Haring (1978) – Poster

A serpentine line cuts through the frame with electric urgency. This is Untitled 2, one of Keith Haring’s earliest explorations of motion and mark-making on paper. Black ink slashes across a stark white field, forming a continuous, looping figure that pulses with life. The composition is raw, almost sketch-like, yet the energy is undeniable. Haring’s use of negative space gives the line weight, as if it’s carving its own path through the paper. Haring’s work from this period often captures the restless energy of 1970s New York, a city alive with graffiti, music, and underground art. Untitled 2 feels like a heartbeat, a single gesture that contains the pulse of a whole movement. It’s a glimpse into the artist’s process, a moment of pure, unfiltered expression before his later, more polished Pop Art fame. Hang this Keith Haring art print where bold lines demand attention. A poster for collectors who value the rawness of early creativity and the unmistakable hand of a visionary artist.
