Vandalised Phone Box by Banksy (2005) – Poster

A red phone box sits defaced with graffiti on a London street. This is Vandalised Phone Box, a 2005 work by Banksy that turns an everyday object into a quiet act of rebellion. The poster shows the classic British phone box in crimson red, its glass panes cracked and its surface marked with bold black tags and drips. The background is a muted urban grey, the kind that fades into the city’s concrete. The contrast is sharp: the red pops, the graffiti sprawls, the cracks tell a story of use and neglect. Banksy’s street art often flips the script on what we ignore. Here, the phone box—once a symbol of connection—becomes a canvas for the anonymous voice of the city. The graffiti isn’t just defacement; it’s a claim, a moment of quiet protest in an otherwise orderly scene. The artwork lingers because it asks who owns public space, and who gets to leave a mark. Hang Vandalised Phone Box as wall art in a studio, office, or den. It is a Banksy poster that invites conversation, a fine art print for those who appreciate wit laced with social commentary.
